22.0 - Manually Send 'Thanking Guest' E-mail

ResBook released a few updates to the E-mail templates:

1. The 'Room E-mail Content' tag is now enabled for the 'General'  and 'Thanking Guest' e-mail template.

2. Thanking Guest e-mail is now enabled for manual use and can be sent for all Confirmed Bookings at any stage. ResBook users can choose if they wish to send the Thanking Guest e-mail manually or automatically by following these instructions:

  • To send 'Thanking Guest E-mail' Automatically:
    1. Verify the settings by going to settings-icon > System Settings > General Settings.
    2. Scroll down to the bottom to set 'Enable Thanking Guest E-mail' to 'Yes'.

The e-mails will be sent 2 days after the guest departs.

  • To send 'Thanking Guest E-mail' Manually
    1. Verify the settings by going to settings-icon > System Settings > General Settings.
    2. Scroll down to the bottom to set 'Enable Thanking Guest E-mail' to 'No'.

Go to any Booking and send the Thanking Guest e-mail any time after the guest checks out:

Note: This works only for a Confirmed Booking.
